If your organization has licensed and configured Arbortext Editor and Arbortext Change Page for Defense (CPD), you can publish only the pages that have changed for a selected document.
About Change Page Pro
Change Page Pro is a licensed feature of Astoria that publishes updates to an SGML document that include only those pages that have changed, omitting pages that remain unchanged. Change Page Pro requires Arbortext Change Page for Defense (CPD) to provide this functionality.
Publishing the Initial Baseline
Before you can publish change pages for a document, you must publish an initial baseline. Change Page Pro uses the page breaks captured in the baseline to calculate changed pages for subsequent publish operations.
Publishing Changed Pages
Changed pages are published after authors modify the document by checking out, editing, and checking in document fragments.
Publishing a New Revision
A new revision follows one or more cycles of publishing change pages, and is used to re-flow text onto pages and remove point numbering on chapters, sections, paragraphs, and pages. The resulting document is similar to an initial baseline. The main difference is that change bars can be added to display differences since publishing the previous set of change pages.
Republishing a Change Package
Republishing a change package deletes the existing change package and then publishes it based on the current contents of the document.
Viewing Change Package PDF Output
The Show Change Packages command provides a wealth of information about the Change Packages created for a document and is the best way to view a PDF representation for a Change Package.
Deleting a Change Package
The Show Change Packages command is the only way to cleanly delete a Change Package.
