Republishing a Change Package

Republishing a change package deletes the existing change package and then publishes it based on the current contents of the document.

Note: This operation permanently deletes the most recently created Change Package for this document!
  1. Right-click the SGML document, and select Publish > Republish Change Pages.
The Republish Change Package dialog appears.
    • The Package Location field specifies the folder within Astoria where the change package is stored.
    • The Package Name field is supplied with a default name.
  2. Verify that the publish type is Change Pages.
  3. Verify the Change Level field displays the value from the previous publish operation.
  4. Select the Change Pages Only check box.
Selecting this option generates just the pages that have changed in this release. If the check box is cleared, both the changed pages and all the pages will be generated in two separate PDF documents.
  5. Set the Issue Date field to the date you want to display in the document.
This does not need to match the date you actually run the publish command, and usually reflects the official release date of the document. The time is not included in the printed date.
  6. Click OK.
A batch job is submitted to publish the document. You will receive an e-mail notice when the publish operation completes.
