Supported DTDs

Only certain DTDs can be used with Change Page Pro.

The Document Type Definition (DTD) requires specialized markup declarations to allow the SGML document to contain page break information and other publishing-related information. Additionally, Change Page Pro uses information regarding change and revision levels stored in the published document by CPD. As a result, Change Page Pro and Arbortext CPD support only certain DTDs.

The supported DTDs must be derived from:

38784 — General Style and Format.
7700 — Basic Flight Manual.
38807 — Illustrated Parts Breakdown.
83495 — Job Guide.
8031 — List of applicable Publications.

Documents using other DTDs can be published in full using the standard Astoria integration with Arbortext PE or other composition products, but these documents cannot be published using Change Page Pro as a Change Package containing only the changed pages.
