A new revision follows one or more cycles of publishing change pages, and is used to re-flow text onto pages and remove point numbering on chapters, sections, paragraphs, and pages. The resulting document is similar to an initial baseline. The main difference is that change bars can be added to display differences since publishing the previous set of change pages.
- Right-click the SGML document, and select .
The Publish Change Package dialog appears.
- Select the New Revision check box in the Publish box.
- Set the Revision Level name.
To specify the Revision Level, choose the next increment for the revision name.
For example, if the current revision name is 0, you can choose A as the next revision name. This value is sent to the publishing software and is printed in the document as the current revision level.
- Change the Package Name field to match your current revision level.
- Use the Package Location field to specify the folder within Astoria where the change package will be stored.
You can change the default value that appears here on a document-by-document basis from the Show Change Packages dialog.
- Click OK.
A batch job is submitted to publish the document. You will receive an email notice when the publish operation completes.
