Setting Workflow Options in the Application Document

An administrator can set a number of workflow options in the application document.

Many field settings in the application document control how workflow will function in the repository. See About the Application Document.
Field Description
Annotation Group If you intend to use annotations in your workflow, define the Annotation Group. See Defining the Annotation Group.
Status and Task Changers Defines group with global access to Reset Status and Change Task Owner commands, regardless of workflow definitions.
Annotation View Option and Annotation View Elements See Annotation View Options.
Job Flavors Possible job flavors that can be specified for Task Sequence documents and Audience Parameters documents used in workflow.
Set workflow status on referenced documents See Setting Workflow Status on Documents Referenced by a Map.
Allow submitter to Set workflow status on referenced documents: If this check box is selected, when a Change Status or Reset Status command is issued on a map, the resulting dialog contains a field allowing the submitter to override the setting of the Set workflow status on referenced documents field. See Changing the Status Using a Command and Resetting the Status of a Workflow.
Perform Change Status in foreground When possible, perform status changes in the foreground rather than submitting a job to the Workflow daemon.
