A view is a visual component within the Workbench.
Most views use icons to identify the type of objects displayed. Normally, only one instance of a particular type of view may exist within a Workbench unless the view is pinned.
Only one view can be active at a time. An active view allows you to perform actions on items in the view. Click on a view tab to make it active. The active view tab is highlighted, and determines the content of the status bar.
