The My Merge Changes view supports the Release Management feature and is populated when performing a merge operation.
A merge operation applies changes in the source release into the target release. When a merge operation is started, the My Merge Changes view appears showing the changes that will be merged. If a change has been made to the same element in both releases, the merge operation presents these as conflicts and requires user intervention to specify which changes are applied to the files in the target release.
When populated with information about the merge operation, the view contains three panes, showing the list of changes, including conflicts, details about the changes or resolution options for a change selected from the list, and a browse view of the change or resolution option selected for the conflict. To make it easier to work in the view, maximize it by double-clicking the view tab or clicking in the view toolbar.
