About the Administration Cabinet

The Administration cabinet contains configuration data for the Astoria Communication Service.

Note: This documentation refers to the Administration cabinet. However, the name of this cabinet may vary at your site, because the cabinet name is determined locally during installation. The cabinet has a flavor of application and the cabinet icon is decorated with a hammer .

The Administration cabinet contains all menu definitions from documents and contains information which governs aspects of the ACS that can be configured.

Some folders in the Administration cabinet are decorated with icons to identify their purpose. Many of the folders in the Administration cabinet restrict users from creating or importing folders or files. Other folders allow administrators to place folders or files of specific types to configure or customize Astoria features.
