The oXygen editor uses a Sandbox on the local system to support faster saves and offline editing.

About the Oxygen Sandbox
The WAN Bridge for Oxygen installs an Astoria Sandbox view in the Oxygen interface.
Saving a Document in the Sandbox
Save or close the document in the oXygen editor to save it to the Sandbox.
Opening a Document to Edit from the Sandbox
You can use the oXygen editor to open a document in the Sandbox to edit.
Using Nomadic Editing
The Sandbox allows you to edit documents in the oXygen editor when you are away from a network connection.
Background Saving When Online
When in online mode, saving a document to the Sandbox causes the WAN bridge to attempt to also save the file to the repository.
