You can export repository objects to
your local computer or other network locations. Some download exports use the workbench and
others use the web browser.
Foreground Export
When a single file is selected for download
export, it will be retrieved via the Astoria Workbench in the foreground (while you
wait).
Background Export
When anything other than a single file is
selected, the export to any destination will be performed in the background. You
will receive an email with instructions regarding next steps. Objects that can be
exported through a background process include:
- Structured documents
- Files
- Folders
- Cabinets
