Exporting to your local computer

This task describes how to export repository objects to your computer using the Export command.

1. Select the object to export.
2. Right-click and select File > Export.
   Objects such as individual files, searches, and report designs can only be downloaded to your computer and all that appears is a local file system chooser dialog. If desired, you can select multiple files ( or searches, or report designs) and invoke File > Export. Other objects such a folder or structured document cause an Export dialog to appear.
3. In the Store Results field, specify Download.
4. Specify other options and click Ok.
   Once the requested objects are prepared for export, an email will be sent that contains a link to download the objects.
