About Sandbox Folders

Some integrated XML editors use a Sandbox folder located on the user's local system.

When you open a structured documents for editing, it is copied to your local Sandbox folder where it can be edited and interim copies saved. When the document is checked in to the repository, it is removed from the Sandbox folder.

These integrated editors support the use of a local Sandbox folder:

Important: If you use both XML editors you will have two Sandbox folders on your local system. Sandbox functions for each editor are independent. Do not try to access structured documents in a Sandbox folder by an editor that did not store it there.
