Several Locate commands are available to assist in locating objects or related objects in the repository.

Locate | The Locate command is available when you select any folder object. Select the object and execute the command to update the Navigation view to highlight the selected object. | |
Locate Source | The Locate Source command is available when you select a file, file version, or an element. Select the object and execute the command to update the Navigation view, which highlights the file or structured document that houses the file version or element. | |
Locate Referenced Object | The Locate Referenced Object command is available when you select a document element. Select an element that references another object and execute the command. The Navigation view highlights the referenced object. For example, if you select an image element and execute the command, the Navigation view highlights the image file referenced by the selected element. If you select an xref element, the Navigation view highlights the object referenced by the href attribute. |

Locate Source Locate Target |
The Locate Source and Locate Target commands in the My Merge Changes view are available when you select a change in the Changes pane of the My Merge Changes view. Select a merge object (such as a structured document, map, or file) from the list and execute the command to further investigate the change. The Navigation view highlights the object in the source or target release that triggered the change. See Examining Results in My Merge Changes View |
