Validating a Map

You can validate a map that is open for editing in the Workbench Map Editor.

  1. Make the Workbench Map Editor active by clicking the Map Editor Tab.
    The Workbench Ribbon displays a new Editor tab.
  2. Select the top-level map element in the Document Structure area of the editor.
  3. In the Editor tab, Repository band of the Workbench Ribbon, click Validate ().
The map is validated. If the map is valid, a message indicates the document is valid. If the validation finds errors, they are reported.
