Updating a User Definition

An administrator or user can update a User definition using the Properties sheet of that user.

An administrator can update a user definition to change how that user accesses the repository and define how certain repository functions are implemented for the user. An administrator can also run the createDBUsers.py script to update one or more user definitions. See Creating or Modifying a User Definition Using a Script. Individual users can also update some properties in their own user definition, but may not be authorized to change all properties.
  1. Open the Properties definition for the user.
