An administrator can update a group definition to change the name, description, and group membership.
- In The Navigation view, right-click the group to be updated and select Show Properties.
The Group Properties dialog appears.
- Modify the group name or description if appropriate.
Note: You cannot change the Group Type of an existing group.
- Modify the group membership if appropriate by adding or removing individual users or groups from the Present lists.
- Click OK.
The updated group definition is stored in the repository.
- Changes you have made to the group name may affect snapshot labels defined in the application document to constrain availability by group membership. See Constraining Snapshot Labels by Group Membership.
- Changes you have made to the group membership lists now affect any access controls implemented through this group.
