Running the Log Collector Tool

You can run the Log Collector Tool from an icon in the Workbench, or as a standalone application from the installed WAN bridge directory. If you are using the Oxygen XML editor, you can also invoke the command from the Astoria menu.

  1. Issue the command using one of these methods:
    Method Action
    Workbench At the top right of the Workbench, click the Log Collector icon ().
    WAN Bridge directory On a Windows system, navigate to the batch file (the default location is Program Files (x86)/Astoria Software/Bridges/bin.) Double-click the LogCollector.bat file.

    On a Mac OS system, navigate to the script file (the default location is /Applications/Oxygen XML Editor/plugins/AstoriaOxygenXMLWANBridge/tools.) Double-click the LogCollector.command file. A terminal window opens.

    Oxygen XML Right-click the Astoria menu and select Collect Logs.
    The Astoria Log Collector dialog appears.
  2. Accept the default Desktop Location or click Choose, then navigate to and select a different location, and click Save.
  3. Click Collect.
A .zip file is created and stored in the selected location, containing the most recent Astoria log files.
