Running the Diagnostic Tool

You can run the Diagnostic Tool from an icon in the Workbench. If you are using the oXygen editor, you can also invoke the command from the Astoria menu.

  1. Issue the command using one of these methods:

    Workbench At the top right of the Workbench, click the Diagnostic Tool icon ().
    the oXygen editor Right-click the Astoria menu and select Run Diagnostic Tool.
    The Astoria Diagnostic Tool dialog appears. Initially, the dialog window displays Waiting.... When the diagnostic tests are complete, diagnostic output is written to the dialog window.
    Note: If the user issuing the command is not a member of the com.lspeed.astoria.StructuredDocumentUpdateLicense group, the PUT database document test (at the bottom of the output) will report this as an error. This is expected behavior.
  2. Click Zip to save the information to a .zip file.
    By default, the file is written to the system's desktop. However, you can change the location.
  3. Click to dismiss the dialog.
