Annotation Definition Annotation Definition An annotation definition is a repository object that allows user-defined information to be attached to, or removed from the objects in the repository.
Annotations are typically used for reviewer comments. Annotation definitions can be created only by administrators. Administrators can specify access controls on an annotation definition to allow users to create, update, and delete annotation instances attached to objects in the repository.
