selecting or clearing the
Translate this document only
check box in the Start Translation dialog.
If selected, only the selected document is included in the translation package. Referenced documents are not included.
Note: Selecting this check box automatically selects the Exclude xref'd documents check box in the Translation options section of the dialog.
If you select this option when starting translation on a map, if the map references documents that have never been translated, the Start Translation job will fail. An email notification will explain why it failed. For example,
The 'Translate this document only' option is not appropriate for this document, because it references untranslated documents:
DITA > Translation Testing > Approval2 > topic6.dita
These referenced documents must be translated too; to do this, Start Translation again and do not check the 'Translate this document only' option.
