Compatible Versions of Composition Profiles

Composition Profiles created prior to Astoria release 6.4 are not compatible with the improved Composition Profile paradigm created in release 6.4.

Important: If you created composition profiles in an Astoria software release prior to 6.4, they are no longer compatible with the improved composition profile design. You must recreate the profiles in 6.4 before they can be used in compose jobs.

You can issue the Foreground Export command on incompatible profiles and place them on your local machine, where you can open and view the profile to assist in recreating it in 6.4. Once it has been recreated, you should delete the incompatible version from the repository.

Tip: To locate potentially incompatible composition profiles, run a Basic search across the repository and specify:

Find Files
By Name
Operator Contains
Value .cpf

In the returned results list, examine the Save Date for each file. If the file was last saved before your organization updated to Astoria release 6.4, the file is incompatible and must be recreated in 6.4.
