Additional Field for Start Translation with SDL/Nexus-FTP or FTP-ZIP-SRC

If your system is configured to integrate with SDL/Nexus-FTP for translation management, or to use the FTP-ZIP-SRC connector, the Start Translation dialog contains an additional field for you to specify.

When you issue the Start Translation command, the Start Translation dialog appears. When you expand the Translation options, the Translation Configuration field appears.

Select a Translation Configuration name from the list.

Note: The list items are configured in the application document. The combination of the configuration name you select and the target language cabinets you select tells Astoria where to deposit the translation package on the destination FTP server, and where to look for completed translated packages. The selected target language cabinets map to the SDL Locales entries in the application document.

If you select a Translation Configuration item that doesn't exist on the FTP server, an error message is sent to you.

Translations were not started for the following languages, because there was an error storing out the translation package for Translation Configuration choice.
