About Revoking the Checkout of Objects

Revoking the checkout of an object unlocks the object and any changes made while the object was checked out are discarded.

Users can revoke the checkout of objects they have checked out themselves. Authorized users can revoke the checkout of other users.
Note: It is best to consult with the user who has the object checked out and ask them to either check in changes or revoke the edit, rather than risk losing work.
