If you open a map to edit, then modify the map or determine no changes are needed, you can revoke the checkout and unlock the map.
Revoke the checkout of a map using one of these methods:
- In the Map Editor, click
in the map tab.In the Close Map Editor dialog, select Revoke.
- With the map editor active, in the Workbench Ribbon select the top-level element in the Document Structure area, then in the Editor tab, then click Revoke Edit.
In the confirmation dialog, click Revoke.
The map is closed and unlocked. If you have made any changes to the map, the changes are discarded.
