Configuring the Astoria Portal requires an initial Professional Services engagement, followed by an administrator setting up a connection between the portal server and the ACS.
The Astoria portal requires a separate Astoria repository license, as well as a license from a portal server vendor. Once these licenses are installed, the appearance and behavior of the Astoria Portal must be configured by Astoria Professional Services.
Configuring the connection between the Astoria repository and the Astoria Portal requires
access to the Astoria Communications Server. This configuration is accomplished by an administrator running a script on the ACS.
- For DITAweb servers, an administrator must set up the location of the server or servers and folder location. See Managing DITAweb Portal Destinations.
- For Ingeniux CMS servers, an administrator must set up the location and login of the server by running the setIngeniuxSettings.py script on the ACS server. See Configuring the Astoria Portal for Ingeniux Server.
- For Zoomin, an administrator is required to configure Astoria to access the Zoomin portal. Contact Astoria support for details.
