Specifying an Explicit Custom or Named Parameter for a Composition Job

You can specify a custom parameter or named parameter in the Compose Output dialog.

  1. Enter one or more custom parameters or named parameters in the Custom Parameters field.
    For example,

    -Dargs.draft=yes

    See Custom Parameter Syntax
Note: This custom parameter causes DITA-OT to include draft-comment and required-cleanup elements in composed output.
For syntax of a named parameter, see About Named Parameters.
  2. Complete all appropriate Compose options and click OK.
The compose job will be processed using the custom parameter(s) or named parameter(s) you entered. When specified on an object for composition, custom parameters are retained and used on subsequent invocations until altered.
