Some batch processes allow you to schedule a future one-time or recurring batch job.
By default, batch jobs generally run immediately (the Run Job field initially displays Now).
- To run the batch job at a future date:
- Click
 next to Scheduling.The
Scheduling area expands.

- For Run Job, select Future.

- Specify a Start Date/Time.
The default value is the current date and time. Click

, then select a future date and time, and click
OK.

- To make the job a recurring job, specify a Recurrence option:
The default is None, indicating the job will not run on a recurring schedule.
When you select a Recurrence option, specify how often to run in the Every field.
Important: Once a recurring job is scheduled, it will run indefinitely. To cancel a recurring job, an authorized user must delete it from the xdSchedulingMonitor queue (in the Event Queue Definitions administration object).
