The DITA -OT Integrator command updates a DITA-OT version on the server to reflect a new DITA-OT version imported into the repository or the addition, modification, or removal of plugins for a DITA-OT version in the Administration cabinet in the Workbench.
This command can be run only by Application Administrators, and is enabled only on
DITA-OT folders in the
DITA Toolkits folder in the
Administration cabinet.
Note: You may initiate this command on a DITA Open Toolkit that is composing output, but Astoria will automatically wait until DITA-OT is finished before allowing this command to execute. In Astoria versions prior to 6.7, running this command while a composition job is running would generate an INTEGRATION FAILURE: Could not rename ... error message.
This command executes a script that looks for the DITA-OT folder on the local file system that corresponds to the one that has been changed in the repository. If successful, the script then executes the setDITAOTClasspath.py script to ensure all changes are reflected in the classpath on the server. A batch job executes in the background. When the job completes, you will receive an email notification reporting the results. The integration_log_nnn_nnn file attachment reports the files changed on the server. The batch_nnnn_logs.zip file attachment contains logs created by the job.
To utilize an updated view of the selected DITA-OT, you must restart the Workbench.
