Modifying a Composition Profile

Authorized users can edit a composition profile.

Before modifying a composition profile, consider where it has been used previously for composition jobs. A profile file is retained in the Compose Output dialog and used on subsequent compose jobs until a different profile is selected or the user clicks Clear Profile.
Tip: You can copy and paste an existing composition profile, then edit the copy as appropriate.
  1. Right-click the composition profile and select File > Edit.
    The Edit Composition Profile dialog appears. The DITA OT and Transtype fields cannot be modified.
  2. Modify fields in the dialog as appropriate.
    • Change the profile Name if desired.
    • Add or modify the Description field.
    • Add, modify, or delete existing parameters defined in the table rows.
  3. Click OK.
The modified profile is saved in the repository.
