Importing a Plugin Folder into a DITA-OT Folder

An administrator can import a plugin folder into the plugins directory of a DITA-OT folder in the Administration cabinet to support a new transtype for that DITA-OT version.

The plugin folder to import must be available on a local file system.
  1. Navigate to and expand the desired DITA-OT folder in the DITA Toolkits folder in the Administration cabinet.
  2. Right-click the plugins folder and select File > Import Folder.
    The Import Folder(s) dialog appears.
  3. By the Folder Name(s) field, click Browse, then navigate to and select the plugin folder name on the local file system.
    You can multiselect sibling folders to import multiple plugins.
  4. Provide a folder Name and optional Description for the folder.
  5. Do not change the Location field, which should display plugins.
  6. Click OK.
The plugin folder and its contents are imported into the repository.
Execute the Run DITA OT Integrator command on the DITA-OT folder where you imported the plugin to update the DITA-OT version on the server with this change. After the command executes, restart the Workbench to utilize the updated toolkit.
