You can delete unwanted folder items from the repository. If your repository is configured to enable the wastebasket feature, folder items may be hidden and can later be restored.
Note: You cannot delete an element within a structured document using the Workbench. Instead, you must edit the document to delete the element.
- Right-click the object and select .
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
If the object has no dependencies, it is moved to the cabinet wastebasket.
If the object references or is referenced by other objects in the repository, a confirmation appears.
- Click Yes to delete the object. All dependencies to the object are removed.
- Click No to cancel the delete request.
- Click Show Where Used to view the relationships and ancestry of the document. Close the Where Used dialog and click either Yes or No to confirm or cancel the deletion.
Deleted folder items are stored in the cabinet wastebasket and can be restored.
