The Workbench Copy command now places a
more useful URL on the clipboard for DITA elements with an id attribute that can be used for
hrefs or conrefs. This URL can then be pasted into an attribute value in the oXygen
integrated editor.
- In the Navigation view, select a DITA topic that contains an element with an id that you want to use as an @href or @conref in a different topic.
- Expand the topic to the desired element and select it.
Note: Notice that the element id appears in the Properties view.
- Right-click the element, then select .
The URL for the element is placed on your clipboard.
- In the oXygen integrated editor, navigate to or enter an element of the same kind as that selected in Step 1.
- Select the element, then paste the contents of your clipboard into the like @href or @conref attribute value field.
The DITA element @href or @conref is copied into the new location.
