Configuring the Translation Option for Release Management

An administrator can set a translation option for in-progress translations in the application document.

The option determines whether to cancel the release-creation process if any assets are part of an in-progress translation operation.
  1. In the Workbench, navigate to and select the application document, located in the Administration cabinet.
  2. Right-click the document and select File > Edit.
    The application document webform opens for editing.
  3. Scroll down in the webform and select the Allow in-progress translations when creating or branching a release check box.
    By default, the check box is selected. If the check box is cleared, creating or branching a release will fail if the source documents have translations in progress (only if the snapshot of the translation matches the snapshot of the new release).
  4. Scroll to the top (or bottom) of the webform and click Checkin Document.
  5. When prompted, provide a checkin note indicating what was changed in the webform, then click OK.
