A system administrator must specify settings in the Astoria application document and specify custom attributes on each user who will submit translation jobs to support using SDL WorldServer translation management services.
Astoria supports WorldServer Version 11.
Note: Consult with your vendor's account representative for details about these settings.
- In the Workbench, navigate to
and select the application document, located in the
Administration cabinet.
- Right-click the document and select .
The application document webform opens for editing.
- Scroll down in the webform to the Translation Package destination field and select WorldServer.
- Enter the WorldServer SOAP URL.
For example, https://yourcompany.idiomworldserver.com/ws/services.
- Enter the WorldServer base folder name.
This is the default folder path where project files are stored on WorldServer.
For each project, a subfolder within this base folder is created. The name of the subfolder will be the Project Name (taken from the Start Translation dialog). Within the subfolder will be folders for the source language (Source-English) and target language (for example, Target-German) documents.
- Scroll to the top (or bottom) of the webform and click Checkin Document.
- When prompted, provide a checkin note indicating what was changed in the webform, then click OK.
- For each user who will submit translation jobs to WorldServer, configure their WorldServer credentials.
- Right-click the user name and select Show Properties.
- In the Properties dialog, click the Custom Attributes tab.
- Click Add and select World Server username, then enter the username string.
- Click Add and select World Server password, then enter the password string.
- Click OK.
The custom attributes are set for the user.
