Configuring Astoria for GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Translations

A system administrator must specify settings in the Astoria application document to support using GlobalLink Enterprise TMS translation services.

Note: Consult with your vendor's account representative for details about these settings.
  1. In the Workbench, navigate to and select the application document, located in the Administration cabinet.
  2. Right-click the document and select File > Edit.
The application document webform opens for editing.
  3. Scroll down in the webform to the Translation Package destination field and select GlobalLink Enterprise TMS.
  4. Scroll down further in the webform and enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS URL.
  5. Enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Username.
This is the username for creating GlobalLink Enterprise TMS projects.
  6. Enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Password.
This is the password for the user.
  7. Enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Oauth Username.
This is the Oauth username for creating GlobalLink Enterprise TMS projects.
  8. Enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Oauth Password.
This is the Oauth password for the user.
  9. Enter the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS Shortcode.
The shortcode identifies the default Project Type that is defined in the GlobalLink Enterprise TMS application, which is a collection of business logic (for example, workflows, users, languages) to apply when a translation package flows into GlobalLink Enterprise TMS. If more than one Project Type is defined in GlobalLink Enterprise TMS, the Start Translation dialog allows the user to select a different Project Type value instead of the default.
  10. Note: This step requires consultation with a GlobalLink Enterprise Solution Engineer to set correctly.
Select a default Submission Claim Level from the associated drop-down display. Also, select whether or not Submitter can override Claim Level.
  11. Enter values for GlobalLink Enterprise TMS classifier and mime types for XML documents and for non-XML files.
    • A classifier is a shorthand designation that maps to a set of parser rules in GlobalLink Enterprise TMS. There's one classifier for XML documents and another classifier for non-XML files.
    • A mime type is an unambiguous media-type designation (maintained by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) to ensure that GlobalLink Enterprise TMS understands what kind of files are in the package without relying on vendor-specific file extensions or naming conventions. There's one mime type for XML files and another mime type for non-XML files.
  12. Scroll to the top (or bottom) of the webform and click Checkin Document.
  13. When prompted, provide a checkin note indicating what was changed in the webform, then click OK.
