After editing multiple topics, you can check in all open files in one operation.
This action can be performed on multiple open documents.
- In the oXygen editor Online toolbar, select the Multi-Checkin icon (
).You can also select the Astoria menu and select Multi-Checkin.
The Multi-Checkin dialog appears.
- In the Documents available for checkin region, select the document names to be checked in.
Note: Read-only documents are not included in the multi-checkin list.
- Specify or select the options for the checkin operation as desired.
The options you select will apply to all documents being checked in. They include:
- Version note
- 4 standard check boxes
Note: You can leave any option blank.
- Click OK.
You can abort the multi-checkin operation by clicking Abort. The operation will stop after the current document checkin is done.
The selected documents are checked in. If a document issues a warning during multi-checkin (such as a dependency violation, or it's not currently checked out) it is not checked in, and remains in the list. You can check these documents in individually, confirming the warning.
The Checkin log: region displays the results of the operation.
