Caching Frequently Used DTDs

You can cache frequently used DTDs to enable faster processing when accessing documents that reference the DTDs.

  1. Right-click a DTD and select File > Show Properties.


  2. In the DTD Properties dialog, select the Cache DTD check box, then click OK.
  3. Repeat for other frequently-used DTDs.
  4. Ask a system administrator to restart Astoria Services.
    The DTDs will not be cached until Astoria Services have been restarted.
Select only frequently used DTDs to cache. If cached DTDs are replaced by new DTDs and documents migrated to the new DTDs, clear the Cache DTD check box in the DTD Properties for the DTDs that are no longer frequently used.
