XMetaL Editor File Menu Commands

These File menu commands for XMetaL editor are of significance when editing an Astoria structured document.

Command	Description
Save	Click this command to save your structured document to the local file system Sandbox folder. The saved changes are not visible to other users until you check in the structured document.
Close	Click this command to close the document. If you have modified the structured document in XMetaL, select the appropriate action: Save. Brings up the Save/Close dialog box with options allowing you to save, checkin, and close the editor. No. The document closes without saving changes to the Sandbox. Cancel. Cancels the Close operation and returns to the editor. If you have not modified the structured document since the last save, the document is closed.
Recent Files list	The list contains references to repository documents that you have checked out and are stored in the Sandbox. The Sandbox copy can be reopened from the list.
