The translation package is a .zip file that contains a variety of files, depending on system configuration and selected translation job options.
Filename | Description |
---|---|
atm_files.zip | This .zip file is included in the root of the translation package and includes files created by the Astoria Translation Manager used to relink content during the post-translation import process. It must be included in the package when returned by the translator. |
jobdata.xml | This free-form XML file is included in the root of the translation package if either FTP-ZIP-SRC or SDL/Nexus-SJP are selected for the Translation Package destination option in the application document. It includes details about the translation job based on options configured in the application document and options selected in the Start Translation dialog. This file is ignored when the translation package is uploaded. |
structured documents (many) | XML files including documents, DITA topics, and maps that are to be translated. |
graphics files | Graphics that are to be translated are included in the translation package. Also, if you select the Include non-translated graphics check box in the Start Translation dialog, non-translated graphics are included in the translation package. Non-translated graphics files are ignored when the translation package is uploaded. |
custom .dtd files (many) | Custom Astoria .dtd files required to support the XML files produced by the Astoria Translation Manager. |
html files (many) | If the Translation HTML check box is selected in the application document, and this is not the first translation of the document, the translation package will contain an HTML file for each exported map and topic. This HTML file contains a comparison between the current and previous version (the last version that was translated) of the document. The comparison is done to help the translator find the changes that need to be translated. |
readme.txt | If the Include Translation readme check box is selected in the application document, a readme.txt file is included in the translation package. This text file includes the following information:
