Renaming or Hiding an Output Type

Application Administrators can customize how transformation types appear in the Type field on the Compose with DITA-OT dialog

1. Create or Edit a customer message file in the Messages folder of the application cabinet.
2. For each output type that is to be renamed or hidden, add a message key with the output type prefixed with composeOutputDisplay_. For example, if the output type is troff, specify a key named composeOutputDisplay_troff.
3. Set the value of the key to the desired display name or * if the output type is to be hidden. For example, a value of TROFF will display the output type in all upper case rather than lower case.
4. After adding all desired entries, checkin the message file.
5. Close and open the workbench to view the changes in the Compose with DITAOT dialog.
   Renaming and Hiding an output type applies to all toolkits.
