You can create shortcuts to reference frequently accessed objects.
You can create a shortcut using two methods:
- Right-click an object in any view, and select .
- Drag and drop an object into the My Shortcuts view.
A reference to the object is created in the My Shortcuts view. Shortcut icons are decorated with an angled arrow in the lower right corner (
). For example, a shortcut to a folder looks like this:

When you create a shortcut, a reference object is also added to your Shortcuts folder in the Administration cabinet's Users folder.
- Click on a shortcut reference to see the object in a Details view, where you can perform actions on the object.
- Right-click the shortcut reference and select to expand the Navigation view to the referenced object.
- Right-click the short cut reference and select , then click Browse and navigate to a different referenced object Target for the shortcut.
When no longer needed, you can delete a shortcut (right-click and select Delete). Deleting a shortcut does not delete the referenced object from the repository, but only the reference to the object. If the shortcut outlives the object it references (that is, the referenced object is permanently destroyed), the shortcut will display a red X (
).
