Working With Shortcuts

You can create shortcuts to reference frequently accessed objects.

You can create a shortcut using two methods:

A reference to the object is created in the My Shortcuts view. Shortcut icons are decorated with an angled arrow in the lower right corner (). For example, a shortcut to a folder looks like this: .

When you create a shortcut, a reference object is also added to your Shortcuts folder in the Administration cabinet's Users folder.

When no longer needed, you can delete a shortcut (right-click and select Delete). Deleting a shortcut does not delete the referenced object from the repository, but only the reference to the object. If the shortcut outlives the object it references (that is, the referenced object is permanently destroyed), the shortcut will display a red X ().
