You can locate objects of interest in many views using the Quick Search feature.
Quick Search is supported in these views:
- Navigation
- Details
- Recent Activity
- My Shortcuts
- My Checkouts
Select the view of interest, then start typing a string. The Quick Search window appears with the string you are typing.
Note: You can also launch an empty Quick Search window using the view toolbar. Click 
and select Quick Search.
and select Quick Search.As you type, objects in the view that contain the string are highlighted. The search is performed on all columns in the view. The window indicates how many objects in the view match the string. Navigate the list using the 
and 
arrows.
To further refine the search:
- Use spaces to separate words that must all be present to match.
- Use quotes to match a phrase.
- Use OR (uppercase) to indicate that either word must be present to match.
Click anywhere outside the Quick Search window to exit the Quick Search feature.
