These helpful tips can assist you in defining Task Sequence and Audience Parameters documents.
Before you open a Task Sequence or Audience Parameter document to edit, create all of the needed building blocks in the repository that you will need to reference in these documents. These include:
- Workflow Settings in the application document
- Workflow Status Values
- Role Definitions
- Email Message Keys
- Jobs and Scriptlets
However, should you begin editing one of these documents and find that you are missing a building block item, you can resolve the problem using one of these approaches:
- Check in the document and in the Checkin note indicate it is a work in progress.
- Pin the document (click
), then resolve the missing building block. Return to the pinned document and continue the definitions, then check in the document.
