You can eliminate rows in a tabular view that do not match a filtering text string.
A view that presents information in a tabular form may display a large number of rows, making it difficult to find objects of interest and perform actions on them.
In the view toolbar, click 
and in the Filter field type a string. The view displays only those rows with text that match the string. Matches are performed on all columns in the view.
To further refine the filter:
- Use spaces to separate strings that must all be present to match.
- Use quotes to match a phrase.
- Use OR (uppercase) to indicate that either string must be present to match. You can enter multiple OR clauses.
- Use NOT (uppercase) to hide rows that match the string. You can enter multiple NOT clauses.
- Combine any of the above options. However, NOT clauses must be last in the statement.
Tip: You can pin the view to preserve the filtered display.
To clear the Filter field, click 
at the end of the Filter field.
To remove the Filter field, in the view toolbar, click again.
