Example of Named Parameters Use

This topic shows an example of using named parameters for composition and the resulting output.

The EditLink DITA-OT plugin from Oxygen XML enables users to click topic links in the composed PDF so they can edit the source DITA topics in the Astoria repository using the Oxygen WebApp Editor. See About the EditLink Plugin .

This example uses a composition profile defined with named parameter definitions (outlined):

Specifying these three parameters when the EditLink plugin is installed in the toolkit causes the generated pages to contain a link, Edit online, that opens the source topic for editing in Oxygen WebApp Editor.

When using the pdf5-ml transtype (from the Antenna House plugin), the composition profile must also specify parameters for AH locations.
