Specify a unique version note for changes made by a Global Substitution batch job.
The Global Substitution dialog allows you to specify a version note for changes made by the batch job. Although this field is optional, it can be useful for tracking changes made with the tool.
Use a unique string in the version note so the object's history will indicate that changes were made with Global Substitution. You can modify a Details view presentation to display a Version Comment column, showing the last change to the object. Use the Version Note Contains saved search to find all objects that were changed by a Global Substitution batch job.
Prefix the version note with the string GS: and a date. Then indicate the type of change. For example: GS: 5/31/16 Removed audience attributes.
