The way deleted objects are handled in the repository depends on the object type and the configuration of the repository.

| Folder item objects (for example, structured documents, files, and folders) | Folder item objects that are deleted are moved to a wastebasket folder. They can be restored until they are permanently destroyed. Note: If you delete a folder, you cannot restore individual objects that were in the folder. You must restore the folder itself.
