You can change the Description of an object in the repository.
Objects in the repository typically have a Description field that can be set during the creation or importing of the object. This optional field may contain additional details about the object. The description is used only for obtaining additional details about an object, if that information has been provided. You can view the description field in either the Properties view or by issuing the Show Properties command on an object. The Description is searchable using a Basic Search.
Administrators can control what users have permission to change a file description. If authorized, you can manually change a description by viewing the object properties and entering or modifying the field content. The Global Substitution tool also provides a substitution rule that allows you to change the description of structured documents. See Change Description Substitution Rule.
