About the Astoria Report Editor Interface

Using the Astoria Report Editor, you can create a report design or edit an existing BIRT Report Design.

Report Designing is available in a special version of the Astoria Workbench known as Astoria Report Editor, which can be launched from the Astoria Landing Page. Using a browser, visit the landing page and click Open Report Editor.

If you are not already logged in to the Workbench, enter your credentials to launch the Astoria Report Editor.

Using the Astoria Report Editor, you can edit an existing BIRT Report Design by right-clicking the report design and selecting File > Modify > Edit.

You can also create operational reports, such as overdue jobs, approved content, or revision history using the BIRT Report Designer. You can also create reports that provide real-time information about business performance, such as the updates performed by authors or the quality of the documentation.

When you are using the Astoria Report Editor interface, the Preferences settings provide additional report design options. See Report Design Options in Preferences Settings.
