The Activity Event Queue displays activity performed in the repository during the current day, by user name.
All user logon or logoff actions are displayed in the queue. It may also lists other actions, such as create, check in, move, expunge, specified by selecting check boxes in the Properties sheet of the queue.
At software installation, an Information Collector task is scheduled to run every midnight. This task extracts the information from the Activity Event Queue and migrates it into DITA documents and maps, stored in the Administration cabinet's Logs folder. By default, only administrators can view the Activity log. To view the Activity log, navigate to and expand the Logs folder. The log files are divided into subfolders by year, month, and date, and mapped by year and by total history since the software was installed.
The Logs can be made searchable, by checking the Searchable check box on the Properties sheet.Once indexed, searches can be performed to find operations involving a single user or Document name.
